The World Whiskies Awards (WWA) is one of the largest and most prestigious whisky competitions in the world, organized by a leading whisky magazine based in the United Kingdom.
Whiskies from around the globe are evaluated through a fully blind tasting process, where brand names, prices, and labels are concealed.
Each entry is judged solely on its flavor, aroma, balance, and overall quality.
For this reason, the awards are widely recognized as an international benchmark of excellence, earning a high level of trust and credibility within the global whisky industry.
Following the national judging rounds, outstanding entries are awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals.
From these, the Category Winners (best in each style) and Country Winners (best in each country) are selected.
Only the Country Winners advance to the final global round of judging, where the ultimate title of “World’s Best” is determined.
This multi-stage selection process identifies only the finest whiskies from around the world, making it an extremely competitive and highly respected award.
